From a practitioner to his cancer patients
1. Do not be rushed into anything by anyone. It is rare that a cancer is so aggressive ( i.e tumor doubling time 3 weeks ) that it immediately be cut, chemo-ed or radiated. When a person receives a diagnosis they often go into fear and jump at anything.
2. If you decide to see a alternative practitioner, do not wait to the last minute ( i.e. my chemo, radiation or surgery is tomorrow or even next week). It takes time and study, on the part of the practitioner, to do things right and it takes time for a protocol to have desired effect.
3. Study a little. Many people put more time into studying buying a new car or house than something as important and intense as Cancer treatment.
4. Post Standard Practice treatment “We think we got it all”. As things stand this is impossible to know. Always be cautious and play good defense.
5. Keep good records. You should have your own copies of everything on hand; Blood work, Pathology reports ect.
